Morning Ally, Di and everyone A nice sunny day here thank goodness as we still have no heating. We need to have our outdoor compressor unit changed (a huge job) but they will get it done before Christmas. A bit of a pain, but such is life.
I ache this morning. I think it was all the dancing I did on Saturday night, but it has only hit me today Just food shopping today and tango tonight...to add to my aches

A beautiful morning here and all the doors and shutters are open to let in the sunshine and warmth

Got a friend coming round in about an hour for coffee and catch-up

Did a fair bit of sorting out in the garden yesterday and have a slight leg ache today, so won't be doingto much walking around.

Had a brill night last night and we're going back on Friday - there is a special of 2 for the price of one on the beers

Di it's the same here - dry today but rain 'promised' for tomorrow

Not sure what's happening here yet today - will ring my MIL in a bit and see if she is going up the hill (Chosen Hill) to Mick's Dad's grave today to lay his Christmas wreath, and if so I will go with her - it's a bit isolated up there and can get slippery........ I know she was waiting for a dry, clear day to do it this week. It's a beautiful spot - so high you can see over both Gloucester one way and Cheltenham the other......

Otherwise I will go to Sainsbury's for a few bits to tide us over until I can get my 'fresh' shop at the weekend......

First headbanger for loosing my post while I was looking for the head banging smiley.... (now isn't that ironic?)

So, what I said in a nutshell... Loz, I find day 3 after excercise to be the sorest, day 4 is pretty good. And hope this fixes your heat pump, I loved my at my old place so much, I want to put one in here.

I cleaned the garage out of boxes enough to fit the car in. Only the car is too long to go in the garage!

I need to pull a cupboard out at the end to let it fit in. if I didn't have a towbar on the car it would be ok, but I use it all the time, so I don't want to take it off

Quite bright here and no rain

Hope things went well for WM at the hospital yesterday.

We're off to see The Hobbit this morning. It's had mixed reviews but we loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy so fingers crossed. Also a bit of added interest, Martin Freeman who has the lead role was at college with youngest daughter.

Managed to get the last of the pressies wrapped yesterday afternoon so apart from food shopping, which we'll probably do Thursday, think we're as ready as we can be.

Morning all. We are just back from the vets.

We have had to take Millie in again as she is still not keeping her food down. The vet is very concerned at the speed that the food is coming up and thinks it could be one of two things. The prognosis on one is pretty good the other doesn't bear thinking about. They are putting a camera down her throat and will ring us this afternoon.

All we can do today now is wait and keep our fingers crossed that it is the best possible outcome. I dread telling the girls if it isn't as it means that we will be one down for Christmas.
