No I don't think you need a card Jo, although they do ask for it. I think you get money off if you have a card though. You can pick one up in store

I thought you had to have a card - no idea why.

But the cards don't cost anything so I suppose it doesn't matter one way or the other.

I have a card but don't really know what the point of it is - I don't get any emails or stuff through the post from them.

You used to need a card, if you hadn't got one they made you sign up at the till, but not any more

All I know is it came to £86 she asked me if I had a card, swiped it through the till and it went down to £76 she said you get the offers if you have a card.

Oh thanks! I'm sure when we used to go, and it's probably 20 years ago, you had to take a wage slip in order to sign up for the card and then the card had to be checked at the desk by the door before you started shopping.

I do a lot of my clothes shopping there, it's excellent value

I have a card, I show it at the checkout and I get, among other things, a fiver for my birthday ( ) and regular emails with voucher codes and discounts

I think you need to use it, if you don't then you won't get the emails - I got a gold one recently as I'd spent over £100 over the course of the year

I use mine a couple of times a year, but never get a fiver for my birthday nor any offers
