Yes Jo, it's the house just outside Ourique. We had another viewing whilst we were there and spent over an hour checking things out.

We'll be contacting the agent to see what the vendor would think about 100,000. It's not worth much more than that now. The house has been empty for 5 years and is now looking very sad -. inside and out.

Not that we can buy it yet :roll:

And if we can't get that one, we'll look for something else :kick:


You'd hope after all of this time he'd snatch your hands off! After all, it's only going to look sadder the longer it's on the market.

We have all the legal stuff and know just how much he spent on having it built, and he'd only be losing about 35,000 euros.

Which, when you think that 5 years ago, our house was worth 275,000 :roll: :roll:
