Little Manuel came into my class today and walked straight towards me with a droopy little flower, two leaves and a smile.
He then told me he'd picked them this morning for me.

2 classes later Lucia came in, walked straight towards me and presented me with a chocolate.
All squished in her warm little hand.

I also got 2 kisses and a big hug from 3 other children. Loving this job.

I start my first adult classes Monday afternoon so I'm hoping any little gifts will be of the alcohol variety or of the diamond persuasion.
I'm not fussed!

That's interesting you said that Ria.

The Spanish are a very tactile nation and the children are just the same.
Full of hugs and kisses.

Only last week I was sitting at my desk and one of my little six year olds brought her writing to me and asked if she could sit beside me on my chair for a few moments..of course I said yes. A little hug after a few minutes and she went back to her seat quite happy.

I've had quite a few kisses from the children before and after their lesson.

Long may it last in all its total innocence.
