Afternoon everyone - didn't have time to log in this morning as I had to be out so early :) All went well at the dentist's thanks - after all that worry he didn't actually fit the bridge today, he needed to take another impression, so I'm back on the 18th of October to get it done     Still at least that means I hang onto me £250 for a few weeks longer  :-P

I also had a nice mooch, bought Mick's birthday pressie (it's not until November 9th but I saw a fabulous blue tweed jacket in M&S I know he'll love) and a jumper in the Gap sale for me - marked down from £29.50 to £16.99 and then it came up at £9 on the till so I was a happy bunny 8-)

Oh and I booked a ticket for the Literary Festival, for a talk by Phillippa Gregory, the author, on Friday 11th October :D :D Really looking forward to that, as I love her books......... 8-) :D

Then got home to some fab news - all being well, and as long as Pepper gets on with him, we will have a new doggie on Saturday!!!!! Fraggle is a 2 year old Shih Tzu X Terrier with the grumpiest face ever :D   There is a thread about it all on Pets for anyone who hasn't read it yet with a link to his piccy :D :D

Afternoon :)

Yaaaay Kaz :kick:
Glad you had a good weekend Loz, and hope you were ok driving Jen :)
Ton when are you off? If it's tomorrow hope you have a good time :)

Aggers have a look in a local paper or two, you may well find someone like the person Jasper goes to - there are a couple around here. Just people with a nice house and secure garden, usually a dog or two of their own, who take in just one or two dogs at a time. The one we met would meet our dog with hers first, come to the house so Minnie would know her - brilliant. I'm sure Prince would be fine; all you need to know is that he's safe and well looked after, but I'd strongly suggest you leave him for just an overnight stay first, then he'd have it firmly in his mind that you'll be back :)

I went to Sainsburys this morning to return some clothes, and found a bargain - a nice new kettle reduced from £29.99 to £11.99 :D Ours had been driving us mad (boils for ages and ages before switching off) and the filter had fallen apart so well worth it :D
This afternoon have been catching up with a couple of programmes I'd recorded :)
Hope everyone's ok and have a nice evening :)
