Morning all :D Looks like a decent day today.
Just off shortly for day two of the tango workshop. My feet are worn out already! Tough day yesterday, but great fun.
Hope everyone is well and wishing you all a good day :D xxx

Morning Loz, morning all. :D :D

A quick swim then I'm picking mum and dad up. :D

We're going to Alqueria which is a couple of miles from here as there is a horse and donkey sanctuary that holds an end of month car boot sale. :D :D

Mum sponsored a couple of donkeys a few years ago and her and dad will get to see how they're doing. :D

Back to roast chicken, salad, home made spicy wedges and crusty bread. :D

And cheesecake. :D

Enjoy the day. :D

Morning all! It's quite dull here, John's just gone out for his Sunday morning bike ride and will be back around 1. Joe's up and playing Fifa 14 and Tom's still asleep. I'll be taking Billy out after my shower. Hopefully his walk will be less eventful than yesterday!

We need to pop in to see my parents this afternoon, and no doubt there'll be another walk at some point.

Have a good day everyone!

Morning everyone :)

Jo I pre-ordered FIFA 14 for Harry (he saved his pocked money for it) and ir arrived on Friday, so you can guess what he's been playing this weekend :D

Loz enjoy the tango-ing :kick:

Ally the donkey sanctuary sounds nice - hope your mum and dad enjoy it :)

I'll be cooking an early-ish lunch so that Mick can get H back to his dad's and Becks can get her train.........then it's back to the Empty Nest :? :(

Have a good Sunday everyone xxx

Morning all :)
Dull yet again here, Minnie and I got rained on a bit. Had a nice walk though, met some of her friends, each of whose owners commented on how much better Minne is looking, which was really good to hear :)

Sitting with a decent coffee before a shower then deciding whether to drive all the way to Sainsburys - really should be giving my back a rest. Will check the 25% off, if it's until tomorrow I could leave it another day which would help, then I can just pop into town instead.
Enjoy day 2 Loz :)
Hope today's walk is ok Jo. Hope everyone else has a good day

Good morning, all.

Just back from a long brisk walk with Prince. Never saw a soul at all.

A woodland walk planned for this afternoon. I love trees.

Have a nice day.

Morning everyone

Chucking it down :kick: :kick: :kick: and still warm :D

Couldn't be bothered to get up, only ironing and more houseworkery stuff for me, then Bente texted, so we're off up there later this afternoon and she's cooking dinner

And it's our 8th anniversary of actually moving here, although we bought the house 2 years before we made it over  and I'd planned a nice dinner here, but always like going out for dinner

Have a good day everyone xx

morning all,

Once again, woke very early, my arm was still hurting after that blooming jab on Thursday although I think I feel back to normal today, the last 2 days I have felt quite horrible - not sure I will be getting this jab next year!!

I started clearing out my bedroom as I collected my new carpet on Friday, so my chest of drawers are in Amy's room now, still a bit to do but mum is coming over later to help - need the help but feel bad as she finished 5 night shifts this morning - she did offer though so she must feel up to it!

Have just had bacon on toast and a cup of tea, going to hang my washing out and then get back to my room and try get most of it done, just the wardrobe i need help with - and wait to hear when my carpet fitter can come :)

woohooo, so exciting!

what a week, new car, new carpet and the best achievement of my life my degree with distinction WOWZERS!!!
:kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick:

(now it would be lovely to meet a nice man lol, but if not, me and Amy will live happily ever after lol!)

Morning all :D

What a busy lot you all are, we've only just surfaced

Planning a trip out tomorrow, just a quick drive down to M&S only 5/10mins or so away in the car so a good test. Really don't know what will work best, glasses or no glasses. Feel very strange without them, great vision in the 'new' eye and a very misty view with the right. Obviously the right eye hasn't changed, it just seems much worse now by comparison. It's almost like one side of me is behind a heavy voile curtain. With glasses it's not quite as distinct a difference, it obviously improves the right eye, but actually makes my new eye misty - sort of evens them up a bit if that makes sense :?

Hope you all have a good day :D
