Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 15 Dec 2012, 07:38

Good morning :)

Lovely sunrise and another nice day forecast. :D

Run for me this morning to be back in time for gazing...oops, concentrating on the recipes in Saturday Kitchen.

Although work was planned for me today the hours have been staggered over Monday and Tuesday..fine by me. :P

Conor and a motley crew of friends are going to Seville for the Malaga game.

He's heading off around 1pm and expects to get home around 6am tomorrow.

Don and myself will watch it at Paco's and get home just after midnight..much more sociable!

Enjoy the day.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Your day sounds as though it's shaping up nicely Ally.
We've had yet more rain, so hard it woke me up around 4.30; there are more and more floods around here, it really does need to stop!
There doesn't seem to be much time left now, so am trying to do a sensible plan for meals etc over Christmas...I usually have this done before now, but haven't got into it properly this year :o
Ah well, at least in here is now officially Christmasified :)
Hop everyone has a good day
Di

Morning chums :) We have a bit of sunshine here this morning! Glad it's not too cold as we have no heating until the engineers come on Monday.
Off to the shops soon before the mad Saturday crowd hit the roads. Just some food to get in. Off to a Christmas Milonga tonight, so a chance to dress up and wear my tango heels :D
Have a good day everyone and keep warm :)

Morning all :)

Quite bright and sunny here at the moment. It absolutely bucketed it down last night though so it's still very wet everywhere.

We had a lovely couple of days away. Thame is a lovely little village, the hotel was very nice and as eldest daughter had e-mailed to remind them it was a treat for her Dad's birthday they made a big fuss of him. Afternoon tea was good, dinner even better and brekkie yesterday morning yummy. Yesterday we went to Blenheim Palace to see the Christmas decorations which were splendid. Altogether a lovely treat :D

I'm expecting a couple of clients this morning, the first is due at 10am. Nothing else planned, think we'll have a nice quiet weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all :)

Have a good time Ally, saundra I'm glad you have sunshine, wish we did

Jen it all sounds lovely - so glad you enjoyed yourselves :) :)

Snap re the rain Di :o :o It wouldn't be so bad but we're in and out all day - H has saved weeks worth of pocket money (bless his little heart) and wants to buy some pressies with it, so we'll have to go either into town (noooooo!!) or one of the big supermarkets or retail parks, and then tonight we are out for a big family meal as the inlaws are up from Weymouth and we won't see them over Christmas. That will be lovely, but at the slightest hint of damp (never mind rain) my hair goes flat as a pancake and stays like it - and it's not long enough to pin it up at the moment. Balaclava or silly santa hat anyone???? :P :P

Enjoy your day everyone :)

Morning all. It's chucked it down all night but its not bad now.

Mick and L have just gone off to get the Christmas tree and I really need to go and get dressed. S is still in her pit.

This morning I have to get the cupcakes marzipaned and then the girls can decorate them ready for tomorrow. Then I really need to get my limoncello done.

We will be decorating the tree late afternoon, once it has had time to settle a little so I need to go and get the decorations out.

Millie is in fine fettle this morning although she is still being very stubborn about taking her tablets. We try and try to get them down her by shoving one in her mouth and then, using a syringe, pumping water in but still she spits it out. After 5 attempts Mick gave up this morning. He is going to ask the vet if there is any alternative. I think they could be the things making her sick (yesterday she had the tablet before food and promptly threw up after her food) so I don't want to grind them up and add them to her food.

Good afternoon friends.

Shopping and dog walking were on our agenda for this morning.

Water, water everywhere after a night of rain, but it's clear and sunny now.

Enjoy your day.

Afternoon all

Chucking it down here and windy too

Had a bad start when we lost an hour, as the alarm clock battery went and I thought it was 8.00, got up made coffee, took it back to bed and we got up at 10.00

Then Grumpy put the wrong stuff on his sardines, so they went in the bin  and he stomped around a bit

But we have the decorations up - well, my version :P I've got 4 Norwegian figures on my desk, surrounded by pine cone candles and penguin and snowmen candles :D and the other stuff is up too.

Doing nowt for the rest of the day, apart from making a curry for tonight. And reading :)

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone xx
