Wish we had your sun Saundra. It's dull, here, grey and very misty - not sure if we're meant to get any sun today or not, but am waiting a bit before taking Minnie out to see if it improves just a bit.

Some shopping to do, plus making a lamb curry for tonight. I bought a little kit at the food festival in the summer for Rogan Josh so am using the lamb from Friday. The kit has 2 sachets, one mixture to marinate the meat, the other to cook it with; the ones they had to taste were really good and made exactly to the recipe on the bag so hopes are high

And there's more cake to eat

weather looks calm and mild, but no sun yet.
I have had a weekend of jam and chutney making, so that's done for the moment. I still have some blackberries left so will make a crumble later to follow the slow roasted shoulder of lamb

Just had fun and games up the road Flower pots were coming out of an upstair window, at a great rate of knots, landing in the road Luckily, no cars or people about and the grandmother of the lad is now sweeping them all up The boy concerned is the terror of the town and is on drugs, which makes him even more loopy

So after all the noise, a quiet day for us, I hope

Cooking the black pork for dinner tonight

we have a druggy used to work in the cafe next door ,now he just wanders about talking to himself ,always clean & well dressed though

Sun is shining here so got my washing out on the line, hoping it dries and I can iron it later

Not much planned today, never saw my friend and baby yesterday as she was too tired, so went we out with my mum & dad for a bit which was nice!

Keep telling myself I should get our bikes out and go a cycle but the lazy side kicks in lol! Maybe go for a walk as they are working on a road that had a huge landslip so want to go and be nosey as can't get near it in the car

Also going to have to phone the council at some point, my toilet is being very odd and wont flush sometimes, I have been filling the cistern up and it still wont work, left it for ages last night and got it but can't have it like that! Just a pain when you work and can't sit in all day waiting on them coming to fix it, they expect everyone to sit in their houses not working, so might phone the emergency line later on lol!
