New zest for life eh? I wonder what pills he is on, I would like to try them. :) Havn`t heard anything of monkey gland lately suppose it is testosterone but am a bit scared of that. 8-)

I really can't abide the man. I struggled to like him when he was in his prime but now I just think he should retire.

I can't bear to watch anything with him in and because of him I don't watch Strictly "live". I record it and then fast forward through the bits with him in.

I'm with Debih on this - can't stand him and I don't watch it, purely because he's in it.

We liked him 40 years ago, saw his one-man show and he was terrific, so versatile. But now he is well past his sell-by and I do think the best way to watch SCD is as Debih says, record and fast forward through the Brucie bits (and the Tess bits too  ) I know I have mentioned this before, but the presenter of the American version Dancing with the Stars is fantastic, Tom Bergeron is his name. He is calm and cool and can read the autocue plus he doesn't tell off colour jokes while stumbling over the punchline because he can't read the bloody autocue. I actually prefer the American show a lot of the time, it's full of pzazz and superb production values. Shame it's not shown on this side of the Atlantic.

Certainly well past his sell-by date, as Osc says .... but even then, still preferable to the wretched shouty Zoe Ball in SCD "It Takes 2".

And the bad news is she's back again this year .....
