Morning all.

Busy day for me again - I feel like I'm meeting myself coming back at the moment and finding life quite a struggle.

I am really busy at work and am doing an extra half day a week. At the same time my role as chair of governors is also really busy at the moment and I am spending lots of time in school. And to top it all, it is so busy in the adoption world that they have had to slot in two extra adoption panels this month which I am doing and they then mistakenly put me on the panel that I don't usually do - this will be my third panel in three weeks on Thursday and I have two more to come over the next two weeks. I don't want to turn them down at £100 a day with Christmas coming up.

This means that with my extra half day at work (Friday) I am busy every day - it is like working full time!!! My only free time this week was Friday afternoon but now I am meeting up with a friend to do the school prospectus - her daughter left our school this time and as Jo's job is a picture editor she is the perfect person to help. It isn't really my job to do this but with the head off someone has to do it and it isn't fair to ask the senior teacher.

Today - school this morning for a slotting and matching exercise (far too complicated to explain but all to do with the local authority pay scheme), work for meetings until 12.30pm, back to school for a meeting with the senior teacher (the head has been signed off for a further month), home to read another set of adoption papers.

So for the next 3 weeks I am working pretty much full time and trying to get my usual stuff at home done - I am starting to panic about the VAT return.

I am trying to keep my evenings as free as possible as the labrynthitis isn't really helping matters - and I am struggling to get an appointment at the doctors with silly new booking system! I'm missing coming on the boards - I really just don't seem to have the time at the moment.

Thats my moan over for the day - have a good day everyone!!

Morning Ally, Debih and everyone

Another gorgeously sunny morning 8-)

Berlimey Debih, try and rest when you can and hope you get to see the doc soon xxx

Off to Tavira again and this time I get to mooch :kick: :kick: :kick: I'll be going down to their daily market, as they have the most hottest hottest   piri-piri sauce, which I'll be sending to son in law for his collection   and I just sort of mistakenly pop into a couple of shops on the way back

Also waiting for a phone call from some people I have sold - sight unseen - the high chair and cot we bought for Oliver to use - which he used once :o  They're in Cabanas, so not too far away.

Hope our poorlies are feeling better xx and we all have a good day xx

Morning everyone :)

Another grey day here *sigh* - missing summer already

Ally have a fantabulous brillo pad time with your folks - I'm sure you will :D :D :D

Debih, you sound very harrassed and no wonder! :( :( I hope you get your appt soon - try laying it on thick then they should see you as an emergency! That's how our surgery works anyway - we have a system that sounds the same as yours, but there are always slots for an emergency, on the day ;) xxxxx

Ton they got a bargain if they were virtually unused 8-) Have a lovely mooch, sounds like my kind of day :D xxx

Food shopping on the agenda here, plus washing and storing away the summer duvet, and then this evening we are taking Mick's mum D and his Aunty J out for a meal, to celebrate D's birthday which was yesterday :) :) His Uncle R is very ill in Cheltenham hospital so we thought J might like to come, to raise her spirits a bit.......

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning :)
Grey here too, lots of rain due sometime later.

Debih that does all sound stressful, especially when you're not feeling good. Do hope you get to see the dr soon.
Minnie came happily to the field again this morning, so fingers crossed she really is getting less anxious.

A few bits of shopping to get - Bb's birthday is Saturday - chicken livers from the farmers market to turn into paté, some more paperwork, maybe even some hoovering ;)
Have a good day all

Morning all
Post on families board. Here was too public.

Slow down Deb. easier said than done I know, but you need to let some thing slide to keep up, or it will catch up with you.

Good afternoon all!

It's cold, grey and wet here, thankfully I was able to get Billy out for his walk before the heavens opened. Got a few jobs to do around the house and I'm plucking up the courage to venture under Joe's bed and have a good sort through the storage boxes under there. That's not urgent though, it'll wait for another day.

Deb, I hope you can get an appointment soon. It's an awful system :?
