The mystery of the missing chicken!

Postby Ally » 16 Sep 2013, 16:38

I cooked a chicken yesterday and stupidly, stupidly left it in the fridge thinking it would do for dinner tonight! :-P

How silly of me!

I've not had it.

Don's been with me all day so I knew he'd not had it!

Jacob's been with Lidia all day and is now at the funeral so he's in the clear.

Which left Conor.

A quick phone call to said Conor has solved the mystery. :D

Well mum, he says. I had to go to uni today to sign some papers and wasn't sure what food would be available so took something from home.

But a WHOLE chicken says I?!

Well my two mates were with me and they'd not brought any food.

I suppose I should be pleased he was kind enough to think of his friends. :D

But a WHOLE chicken??!!

Chinese takeaway it is then.

Well I just had to laugh!

Conor's just come home with one of his chicken eating friends who promptly thanked me for the chicken..then asked what was the 'covering' on it as it was delicious and he wants to ask his mum to make it! :D :D

The 'covering' was a lemon and herb concoction I'd smeared on the chicken.

Covering!
