I got a letter from the AA saying they were giving me 25% off my membership
this year and quoted £61 less 25%.
I phoned them up and told them I had only paid £39 last year and would go
to the RAC unless they could lower it. They came back with £33 so I accepted
it
They do this every year but it really annoys me that you have toargue about it
Next I went to Morrisons to get some tights (it has turned so cold) The ones
I wanted were £2.50 for 3 pairs but a small ticket above them said £1.40 so
I took them to the till and the girl said the ticket shouldn't have been there but
as it was I could have them for the lower price
Next I went to Boots for some pressed powder make up. I found one at £2.99 so
I thought that wasn't too bad as most was dearer.
When the girl scanned it she said 50p so I said that`s wonderful I will have two.
When she scanned the second one it came out at 25p so I bought them both and
left quickly incase she changed her mind
I fancied fish for dinner and picked up a trout in Morrisons and the boy said he was
just going to half price them so I paid 87p for it (it was very nice too)
They don`t call me "Bargain Betty" for nothing
