Those green tomatoes

Postby meriad » 16 Sep 2013, 09:08

OK, I really don't think it's going to be warm enough to get the rest of my tomatoes the red colour they should be, instead most are determined to be a delightful hue of green....

So now asking; anyone out there that has a nice and most importantly easy recipe for green tomato chutney please, because that's all I can think of to use them for

thanks!!! :)

Oh yes please, as I'll have a few left I think - although we've been lucky and I've had tons of ripe ones :)

I quite like the look of Nigel Slater's recipe. It's for mixed red and green, but I think it would work on green only.

I like the look of that one - thanks! I'm heading of to Tesco on Saturday so will get the bits and bobs and then hopefully get experimenting on Sunday.
