Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, not sure it's as warm as it looks though. We had to turn the heating on last night, seems ridiculous in September :o

Safe journey to your mum and dad Ally, all that lovely warm weather will do them no end of good :D

We had a lovely few days away and it was especially nice to meet my new SIL at last.

Off to the hospital shortly, apparently they forgot to test for glucose when I went in for the pre op so now they want another blood test. Fingers crossed I don't end up with another bruise.

Nothing else planned for today, need to do some washing and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good luck Jen - I've to go for a set of blood tests but am putting it off till next week, to let this bruise go a bit before getting another ;)

My goodness it's ever so hard shaving someone
Bb has black hair, quite a lot of it - and hasn't shaved for a week, so it was pretty bad! I was scared each time I moved the razor it would leave a big red line
I did manage to get all the top layer off, except his chin which was just too tricky, and he's managed to finish it off okayish :)
The hair was fine, I ran him a bath so he just had to put his head back and I washed it like that :)
We both needed a sit-down with a nice coffee after that :D

Good afternoon all - it's a bit Brrrr and blowy here, and it's just started to rain too :?

Housework is in progress, I'll be using my sparkly new iron next as I've just got the washing off the line. I'm going to make a banana loaf shortly too - I was going to make one yesterday but only had one egg and it was too nasty to venture out.

Poll, it'll be the soda that did it - bloody lethal stuff, that ;)

Very well done to Minnie! And to you too Di for not giving Bb another injury

Oooh yes Poll, deffo the soda - lethal that stuff :-P

Loads of apple cake left, if anyone wants a slice ;) :D

Mick and I nipped to see D, as it's her birthday, then I went into town, bought a new duvet and a nice grey long-sleeved teeshirt from the men's dept for myself (much better quality than the ladies' ones ;) ) and a black polo neck and some tights from M&S......Came back on the bus as I didn't fancy lugging a 13.5 double duvet all the way home :-P

Had a lovely slice of cake and cuppa when I got in - was looking forward to that all the way home 8-)

That lamb casserole smells delish - even if Mick had polished off all the red wine so there was none to put in it! :x
