Good morning everybody. Sunny here. The rain has stopped. Doing some more packing today as we go to Southampton on Thursday.

Morning all. It looks like its going to be a nice day today if the mist burns off.

I have woken up all refreshed. It was the ladies pamper day yesterday - 10 of us at a friends house with two beauticians, lots of lovely food and 12 bottles of Asti and lime. I had a pedicure and a massage and a wonderful nights sleep.

Work for me this morning but need to nip into school first. They started back on Thursday and were all supposed to be sticking to the new uniform policy. The head is off sick but I had a message from the senior teacher saying that all was going well but one particular child was blatently not wearing it (its the mother - she doesn't "agree" with uniform, even though this child wears full Brownie regalia and her other child at secondary school wears full uniform there). So I'm going in myself today to have a look, talk to the staff to make sure they are telling the children off for not wearing it and will then be contacting governor support to find out where we stand legally (I am pretty sure we can ring the parents and tell them to come in with appropriate clothing - trouble is this parent probably wont so I want to know where we can go from there. We really dont want to exclude but ....).

Then off to work for the morning before another school related meeting. Then home to bake a cake for our craft group tomorrow before going back to work for a meeting of all the tenants of our office site. Then take S to and from cadets.

Then I can go home and sit down!!!

Did I say I was feeling all relaxed.......

Morning Cruiser, Debih and everyone

Another glorious morning 8-)

And we're off to work :roll:

A day at Bente's, doing such mindnumbing jobs such as cleaning windows and shutters :roll:

And I bet the pool hasn't been cleaned either :shock:

Ton I hope your day goes ok, despite it being cleaning

Debih I feel sorry for the child in that uniform scenario, the mother sounds a total nightmare

Cruiser have a great time

Packing here too, as we are moving Becky into her halls tomorrow - she is a lot more relaxed about it now as not only has she been chatting to her flatmates on the FB page, but has also found another girl doing the same course 8-)

Hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, I hate moving stuff about in the rain................

Kaz, I remember packing C off to university. There will be a few quiet tears I'm sure (((((((((kaz))))))))))

Quite nice here now, bright and breezy - the weather, not me

That sounds like 3 days' worth in one Debih - definitely don't envy you the school/parent/uniform problem. Poor child

Ton at least you're doing it in nice weather

Morning all

Wet and miserable here today. Fingers crossed it clears in time for our 4 days away this Wednesday.

Spent a lovely day at eldest daughter's yesterday. Expecting a couple of clients at 11.30 and then intend to have a lazy day, need to recover from all the noise and excitement :lol:

Good afternoon all!

She's gone!!! But not without drama. I'll update the thread on the private board with details :roll:

I've had a dentist check up first thing and YAY! no problems. Then due to the MIL drama John passed me as I walked home in the rain so I got a lift

I've now got some washing out on the line as it's dried up a bit.

Kaz, I hope tomorrow goes well xx

Debbie, I remember you mentioning that woman at the meet up and wondering if she'd follow the rules. What a pain she is, and it makes no sense that she follows the rules elsewhere!
