I lurve dressing up, the problem for me is not being very good at dressing casually  Jo, do you have a nice chain or necklace and earrings to wear with the top, just to make it a bit more dressy and break the line? I love my accessories, I do ;) Also, nail varnish to match the top of course, and you will be (even more) gorgeous. That place looks really classy, bet you will have a great night.

Actually when I was younger I did dress much 'better' - as I've got older, partly I've lost any idea of what suits me and partly can't really be bothered

I think the main thing is being happy with how you are, and then your confidence carries off whatever you wear :) "Bien dans sa peau" I think the French call it, being happy in one's own skin 8-) I like that saying 8-)

Di you always look happy and confident to me, and therefore lovely 8-)

When I was a young mum, in fact until I hit 40, I was not at all into how I looked or dressed......I dressed really frumpily for a young woman, never wore jeans or fashionable stuff, lived in shapeless skirts and baggy jumpers, little makeup, cut my own hair - I think my first marriage had knocked all the confidence out of me as I was a trendy teenager :?

Then when I turned 40 I lost a huge amount of weight (about 3 or 4 stone) and bought a couple of fashionable items of clothes, started bothering with my hair and makeup again, and suddenly found my confidence rocketing! Now even though I have regained a fair bit of weight from then, and yo yo rather, I have still kept the confidence going...............

I like a reason to dress up I must admit, although my wardrobe is not at all full of smart clothes, unless you count my work wardrobe, which is mainly trouser suits and pencil skirts.

I also like to accessorize and always these days wear nail polish, mainly as I think it keeps my nails from splitting and breaking :)

I have a dinner suite for the formal nights on the cruise. Also have a white dinner jacket which I wear with a gold bow tie. Wear a suit sometimes when we go dancing. Mrs.e likes dressing up when we go out and on the cruises. It is part of our holiday.
