Hellooooooo from a rainy Birmingham.

We had a fab bang on time flight yesterday.

The day was a usual Brum day of visiting family, catching up with friends, eating and drinking!

We‘re off soon to see Joanie, going shopping for bits and pieces for her, meeting Jude for lunch, back to Jackie‘s to get ready to meet up with Craig and Leilani then off to Moseley to meet Ed and a rake of others for a session.

So a quiet day then. :kick:

Enjoy the day. xx

Morning all. Its pouring it down here.

Life is back to normal. Mick has gone to work, both girls have gone to school and I am sat at the laptop still in my pj's.

I still have the neighbours two children here - they don't need to leave for another ten minutes yet. I said I was happy to keep on having them two mornings a week - I don't have to do anything. They arrive at around 7.45 and leave at 8.25 (ish) and just sit and watch tv. I don't have to take them to school so its no problem.

Its the allotment show tomorrow so I will be baking today. Both girls want to enter cupcakes and as they are back at school then they wont have time to bake them so I said I would bake and they can decorate. Hopefully I will have time to do a Victoria sponge as well.

Morning :)
Rainy here too, although not a lot so far. I really hope it does rain properly, those weather people have been on and on and on about it all week - and the gardens could certainly do with a good soaking :)

Bb's hoping to get all his work done by early afternoon, then he'll be collecting youngest later. Not for the whole weekend though, he asked if he could go to a friend's sleepover tomorrow night.
Not sure if we'll be seeing eldest, but hope to as he's off to uni next Saturday  :)
Ironing - aah yes, Kaz you've reminded me, there is a bit of that...
Have a good day all - have fun Ally :)

I don't know - I've been so busy at work, organising the show and doing governor stuff I haven't thought about it. I will have a look what jams I have - not many as I have got stuck into making them yet, I never have time over the summer holidays so just freeze everything and then do a jam a week to catch up!!! I have some marrow and ginger and some raspberry and lime. I have a couple of knitted things I can put in and Mick has a photo of a spider that he wants to enter. There isn't much on the plot to enter - rhubarb, runner beans, leek and carrots. And probably a few hundred marrows.

Morning everyone

A bit cloudy, but still warm 8-) well, hot

I'm popping over to my neighbours house later, she's the expert when it comes to irons, so she can show me if I'm going wrong with this stupid steam iron or not. Then we might have to go chip pan hunting

And really should do a bit of that cleaning stuff :(

Have a good day everyone and hope Joanie is okay Ally xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here :(

Hope your visit to Joanie goes well Ally. Enjoy the rest of the day, it sounds like lots of fun will be had.

Goodness debih you really are a busy bee, I'm sure you'll have more than enough to take.

It's my aunt and uncles anniversary today so we're taking them out for lunch, not seen them for a while so I'm sure there will be lots of chatter and gossip to catch up with.

Hope you all have a good day :D
