Good morning Wednesday

Morning all.

Its gawjus here. Sadly I am at work all day.

Have to nip to the bank later this afternoon to sort out money for the girls next week. They both want to have school dinners for their first week so I will need enough change for them to have £2.50 a day (S can probably take £5 to last her for the two days as it is old hat for her but if I give L £5 she'll spend it on the first day in the snack shop!!). S will also need £1 a day for her bus fare (fortunately she has a lift there in the mornings which is saving me £1 a day).

They will be going onto sandwiches after that - £25 a week is too expensive on top of their £5 a week each pocket money and £5 a week for S's bus fare. I know that S prefers to have sandwiches as she can never be bothered to queue up and her friends all have sandwiches. I am hoping that L's friends also have sandwiches.

They are off to my mums today and I have told them that they must wear in their new school shoes which my mum in law bought them at the beginning of the summer. L has had hers on for 2 minutes and is already moaning that one slips up and down and her toes are right at the end of one shoe.   As she will have to walk 4 miles a day (2 miles there, 2 miles back) its important that they are comfy. I am in adoption panel all day tomorrow so can't go shoe shopping with her - they'd better be comfy by the end of the day!!!

School dinners do seem very expensive these days :? Hope L will find some friends to share her sarnies with ;)

Ally, Happy Converse Hunting :D Safe trip too 8-) xxxx

Got some washing on the go, but so far that's the sum of my plans today - no doubt the day will happen and I'll end up busy, as I usually seem to

Have a good Wednesday everyone :) xx

Morning :)
Lovely sunny day here :D
One of those annoying, busy early starts - just sat down and the washing's stopped spinning so now that needs hanging out - doing every bit before the rain comes ;)
Oh I hated school shoes
Will be back for a proper read later, in the meantime have a good day all

Good morning all, after a dull start it has cleared up now and is lovely and sunny although rather windy. We had a blissful day at the races yesterday, one of those special days and the sun shone non-stop. At 7.30 in the evening we were all walking along a beach in the shade and it was still warm enough not to need a cardi.

This morning, we have been doing a touch of decluttering - our desktop pc died a death recently, so we have dismantled everything, I've put the screen, speakers, webcam, mouse and desk onto a local buy and sell FB page, emptied a drawer in my filing cabinet to take all the printing paper etc. that was on the desk and done a general tidy and much needed dusting of that whole area. I have to stroll down to the bookies as Mr. Osc had a smallish win yesterday on an accumulator (I completely failed to win anything  ) and buy some fish, and then going dancing tonight. Have a good day everyone :)

I've been working out what change I need for next week and, if I include their £5 each pocket money I need £50 to send them to school next week!!!!!

L needs a deposit for a locker key too.
