Aaaw bless B. She's bound to be feeling all sorts..homesick, nervous, excitement.

But I bet once she's settled she'll be ok and love it. 8-) :-P

My best friend's 2 daughters both leave for uni (different ones) on the same day. :o
Jackie is incredibly close to Charlotte and Amy and can't even talk about them going without dissolving into tears. :(

She's booked a weeks cruise for the day after they go to stop her moping about the house. :D :D

Morning all, and a glorious one it is here - this is the summer that just keeps on giving Image
We are going to the races this evening, something we haven't done for many years. It's a very special annual meeting, run on a beach at a place called Laytown. http://www.laytownstrandraces.ie/ There is a group of 8 of us going and we are meeting up for lunch beforehand. I've been busy choosing my horses, going to do some kind of accumulator bet before we go and then spend the evening watching my horses come in last or second last

Michael survived his first day in playschool yesterday and went happily enough today apparently, although there were a few tears when Miss Osc was leaving. They are always our babies, Kaz xx You would love a cruise, and I bet Mick would like one too!! Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon Vic :D

He probably would enjoy a cruise especially if there was art involved somewhere - I know I would, but we want to go back to Corfu next Spring and couldn't afford both

B and I are both a bit cheerier this afternoon, thanks for the kind words - sending hugs for little Michael and his mummy, and for your granddaughter too Saundra :) ((((((((((x))))))))))

Good afternoon all, it's dull but warm and humid here.

One day to go and they're back at school. Not sure that my sanity will hold out much longer, it's been a very trying Summer holiday. I've just come downstairs from refereeing today's 2nd big argument

Aww Kaz, I hope she'll soon settle once she's there. She won't be alone though will she, no doubt there'll be plenty of others feeling the same (((((Kaz and B)))))
I'd wondered how Michael was getting on Osc! Hopefully the tears will soon stop once he makes a few friends and can't wait to run off to play ;)
Good luck to your granddaughter Saundra!

We had a joint account even before we were living together! Like you and E Jen, it's my department and John doesn't have a clue what comes in and what goes out, and when. He says that he can never surprise me because I account for every penny and he can't get anything past me

She'll be fine Kaz, honest.

After 10 years, working in student accommodation, only a very very small handful of students actually left the accommodation because they couldn't hack it.

It may take a week or so, but once Freshers gets started..................(actually, you probably don't want too much information about that   )

And we've had a joint account for years :D
