Had to leave Mowgli at the vets

Postby miasmum » 03 Sep 2013, 12:58

I knew he wasn't right, that was why I made him an appointment, but Kim is seriously worried about him. She has admitted him for fluids, bloods, etc. He was fine on Sunday, he was rolling on the floor between Tim's feet and we were laughing with Luke saying "look Mowgli is dancing". He was chasing Mia Sunday night too. Yesterday he was a bit quiet but I was at work all day and out from 7 and he did eat something when I got home. Today though he won't look at food, he is just flat, miserable and not right.

I really can't put him through everything he went through last year and sadly, and I hate saying this, I can't afford to :( :(

Oh no Shell, what a worry and I really hope it's something that the fluids and a course of antibiotics will sort and that he's home soon.

And I know what you mean about the cost of things - my Molly wasn't insured and I also knew that if anything costly ever came up that I'd have a very tough decision to make - I really hope you don't have to get to that point. Some vets do allow payment in installments so depending on what happens that may be an option?

((((hug))))

Thank you. I went to see him and he was pleased to see me and enjoyed a fuss. I took my fleece he likes to sleep on for him. He won't eat anything though, but then again he is in a small cage and must be wondering what the hell is going on.

We just have to wait for the bloods and go from there
