Morning all. Gorgeous morning here.

Meeting at school (primary) for me first thing - the head has been signed off sick for the next two weeks (probably longer) so I am meeting with her, the senior teacher and two other governors to sort that out. I have another meeting later this afternoon with the school clerk to sort out job descriptions for the teaching assistants and mid day supervisors ready for us to sort out the single status stuff (local government thing to do with hours and pay - very complicated and it falls on the governors to deal with). I have to arrange a meeting with the mid day supervisors at the beginning of next week to try to explain it to them.

Then off to work inbetween to sort out all the paperwork for our AGM in a fortnight.

Nice and quiet this morning though - Mick at work, S stayed at my mums last night and L stayed at a friends. So dog walked, breakfast eaten and I'm off.

Morning Saundra, morning all :)
Oh what a beautiful moooorning... :D

Bread's just finished, towels are in washing, and the tide times finally work out so we're taking Minnie down to the marshes and the sea wall a bit later :)
Then we have an appointment at the bank to sort out a joint account, which we kept saying we should do but hadn't got around to it. It's quite easy as our mortgage is already with them (and my a/c).
I shall be much happier, it's quite difficult keeping track because of the way Bb's paid and me being a natural bookkeeper likes to know what's what :)

Have a good day all

Morning Saundra, morning everyone :)

Sunny here and set to be very warm, but that early morning nip is in the air ;)

I need to do a huge food shop today, so will be trundling out to Sainsbury's at some point - tonight we're going to Curry's to pick up a printer for Becky.

Mick's mum is home from her trip to Weymouth, I popped round yesterday to drop in some milk and her bags were in the hallway but she'd gone straight out again - turns out Mick's uncle is in hospital very poorly so she'd gone straight out to visit.

Debih what a start to the new term!! Hope she is better soon and back to school :?

Morning Di, you sound very chirpy :D :D :D Joint accounts are a good idea I think, we've had one for ages and it does help to keep track ;)

Have a nice day everyone xxxx

Morning everyone

Glorious 8-)

Off to hospital later, to see the rather lovely Dr Paulo, about Gladys. Probably a complete waste of time and money, but hey ho, needs must

Then supermarket shopping on the way back.

We were supposed to be going out for dinner tonight, but our little village is still stuffed with touristas and the restaurants are crammed, so Grumpy decided he wouldn't like it   . That means i have to cook then

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning :D :D

I've been into town to post 3 birthday cards and am enjoying a couple of cuppas before my swim. :D

Got my lesson plans yesterday and had a good mooch round the academy.
It's a lovely place with 2 really nice, bright classes with all mod cons, 2 separate loos and toilets and another room at the end with a fridge, hoover, etc.

Amazingly it's our solicitor's old building and where we signed for the house. :D

I can't wait to start. :D

A pootle day for me..although I ought to be thinking about getting things ready for my trip on Thursday.
But I won't!

Enjoy the day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny again 8-)

We've always had a joint account although E always says it's really mine as he hasn't a clue and never deals with money matters at all. I'm not joking when I say if anything happened to me he'd have to get our girls to sort it out for him.

Busy morning for us, visiting mother and hopefully taking her out for coffee and cake then pay her papers, do the banking and after all that a quick whiz round Tesco. Think we'll be collapsing for the afternoon

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning chumeroonies, lovely day here :D
You all sound very busy to me. I'm itching to get driving again, but still 4 more weeks to go  Sooo I shall have to amuse myself here. I washed the floors yesterday, so I think I'll start on the bathrooms.
Tango tonight to look forward to :kick:
Have a good day everyone whatever you have planned xxx

Good luck with Dr P Ton :)

Ally that's a coincidence - obviously meant to be ;)

Morning Pederito :)

Jen I hope all is well with your mum today :)

Loz enjoy your tangoing - no buses around your way then I take it, for getting out and about? That must make not being allowed to drive a real nuisance :( (((((((((x))))))))))

Oh dear we have tears here, B feeling homesick already :( I have hugged and reassured her - she even wants to come food shopping with me later, so she must be feeling off :? I'm doing very well at being cool and calm here, I'm saving my stressing out for you lot......I'll be glad when she's settled in, and either too busy to come home or else only coming with her dirty washing
