No we didn't report it to the police, there were so many people there who could give a more accurate description of what happened, and we just wanted to get out of there - you know, fight or flight. Actually anything I might have told the police would have been useless, because going over it with a calmer mind, I realise now that the woman was actually the passenger, I was watching it in the rear view mirror so got muddled, and I have no idea whatsoever about what went on with the driver. Mr. Osc didn't see much of it, only the bike being dropped in front of us and our memory of what the young man looked like is very generic - early 20s, blue top, perhaps grey tracky bottoms, short mid-brown hair. Actually I think they have traffic CCTV cameras at that junction, which would be much more use to the police.

We're both fine this morning, although Mr. Osc did have a nightmare during the night, he started shouting, but he can't remember what it was about. I slept well - mind you, when we had our first post office robbery years ago and I was the one working, I was the only one who slept like a baby that night, Mr. Osc still mentions it

Oh dear! What a frightening experience.

The police are never about when you need them, are they?
The only places you can be sure of seeing them in vast numbers are at football matches.

Glad you were not hurt in any way, but I expect it will be a long time before you get over it.
