He's okay - thanks for asking.

There is no change with his sight though.

He went to see the consultant last week (not the one that did this op but the one he has been seeing for years and who did the cornea transplant). He was really pleased with it and says that the cornea graft still looks good. He says that he has to be patient - his eye will be swollen from the op and all the work that has been done on it and he said that the other doctor wouldn't have agreed to carry out the op if he didn't think the prognosis was good. He (the consultant) wants to see him again in October and says that he would expect him to have some sight by then.

He is back to see the doctor that did the op on Monday so should hopefully know more then.
