I had a buddleia at our last house and it always had butterflies on it in summer. We get bees a lot here on our lavendar - which is lovely - but I think I might buy a buddleia for next year 8-)

The sun has been out on our buddleia today and it's brought many butterflies and bees, the butterflies have mainly been Whites (with a single Tortoiseshell), but also quite a few Peacocks - the ones with the "eyes" on the wings. I managed to get one to sit on my finger this afternoon!

We seem to have had an explosion in the Peacock population this year ....
