Hello from the beach

Postby JoM » 29 Aug 2013, 17:53

Ooh I've missed you all! I tried to check in last night from the beach but couldn't get a strong enough signal - North Cornwall really is a technological black hole!!

Anyway, we're having a brilliant time - apart from the bickering - and the weather is gorgeous! Billy travelled down with no problems and loves the farm and the beach, he starts to tremble with excitement in the car when we get near to the beach car park and once out of the car he then pulls with all of his strength until he's on the sand :D

Just waiting for the barbecue to be ready now, love beach barbecues :D

Hope all is well with you all - can't wait to fully catch up when I get home xx

Helloooooo *waves madly in SWesterly direction!*

Jo, we had terrible trouble even getting a phone signal at our cottage in Holcombe - I had to hang off the corner of our patio practically on one leg to get enough 'juice' to ring Di

Glad the holiday is going well, even though the boys are bickering - mine are driving me mad this week sniping at each other!! Annoyed at B really, as she's old enough to know better

Enjoy the rest of your time away - we miss you! xxxx

Waves to Jo ~~~~~~~

Good to know that you are all enjoying yourselves.

Is it Billie's fist time at the seaside? Does he bark at the waves to send them back? Max used to. He would watch them break and as they came up the shore he would star barking at them and chase them back. Funny as hell.

Oh Pepper certainly did! She tore around, making friends, digging, and trying to steal the ball from me and H when we played beach cricket and tennis

Mick tried to get her swimming, but she didn't like getting her paws wet :D

*Waves frantically to North Cornwall*
Hi Jo :D

It sounds perfect :D
Glad Billy's enjoying it :D Minnie is obviously used to the water, but you do have to kind of teach them to swim, send a stick out just a little way...But she likes 'our' bit of sea, which doesn't have waves! She's not so keen on waves :D

:D LOL Teignmouth is fairly tidal, lots of waves about - she was a bit nervous I think, but no matter, she loved it there and wore her little legs off  xx
