Doing a Debih

Postby miasmum » 26 Aug 2013, 20:18

I am a bit drung.

We went for a nice walk. Had lunch in the pub before we set off. I had lamb and feta salad and chips and luckily I only had a lime and soda.

Then we called in to friends and after more top ups than I could count I feel a little drung. Typing very carefully, cos if I don't t looks lie ths

Osc I had no real idea of what I wanted to do when I left school - well, I had a couple of quite good ideas actually, but they were vetoed
Anyway, what I really didn't want to be was a secretary, but I did want to learn to type, so I went to evening classes. I did the first level, 30wpm is it? So I can type, but haven't the confidence, I think I go so wrong when I try to look at what I'm doing :D

I had no real idea either, Di, so I just drifted...did a year's Household Management course in a catering college where I met himself, so after that I didn't want to do anything that would take me away from him. Did the dreaded shorthand and typing course, which I absolutely despised but I did turn out to be a fast typist!! I do make mistakes though, and am fairly pedantic, so I proof read, correcting punctuation and grammar.

Yes that's a problem isn't it, it does take twice as long when you're checking apostrophes and semi colons :D
I never post without reading what I've typed, and then read the submitted post as well; my posts are often edited ;) :D

Edited lol, to add that was in reply to Osc :D

I am a touch typist.
Look at the keys and then touch the correct one with a finger
