my new bag :( question...

Postby pollR78 » 22 Aug 2013, 09:15

Dilema.....

I bought a lovely new handbag just before I went on holiday (for my new job but been using it as you do), anyway, got into the car earlier and thought I heard something drop but couldnt see anything, got to tesco and turns out a little bit off my bag fell off and this means the strap is broken :( :(

Now, I found the receipt at the bottom of my bin, I remembered putting throwing it out yesterday!

Would you take it back and get a refund?

I feel I should. It is faulty, I am not willing to go back to the car park like a right idiot and look for the bit to put it back together!

I am gutted, its a gorgeous pink bag, from TK Maxx!

agree - I know with TK Maxx they normally don't have the same one to replace it with, but fingers crossed you'll find another one you like just as much. But definitely refund

I'd definitely take it back.

Its not fit for purpose if it breaks that quickly.

I took a pair of L's boots back to Clarke's once. She had worn them pretty much every day for 3 weeks and then the zip went. They were expensive boots though so I felt that they were not fit for purpose - they refunded me without any quibble.

thanks all, I have never bought anything from TK Maxx before but thankfully its sorted, took it back and got money put back on my account :D :D

shame really but glad it happened today rather than when I had started my new job lol!

I have had the same with Clarks Debih! A pair of boots with a dodgy zip and also a pair of shoes where the rubber at the front/sole came away from the shoe within a week! They tried to get out of giving me a refund but I got it
