Pimms, Sandwiches, Chips and Di and Me

Postby Fugitive » 21 Aug 2013, 14:48

Di and I have just had a mini-lunchtime-meet in Broadchurch sharing a jug of Pimms, sandwiches, chips and chat ;) Two delightful hours that passed very quickly in the sunshine. Could have easily spent another two hours together with another jug of Pimms and more chat.

Di and family are on holiday just ten miles away from me so it was so simple to arrange. Di reminded me she was holidaying round here ten years ago but I was away then so we never made it that time. I wanted to do the Birmingham meet in June but it wasn't to be so it was lovely to be free for today's. Need a tactical snooze after lunchtime Pimms-thankfully it was a weak mix ;)

Went to some friends on Saturday and their home-made Pimms were Killers! One sip and I knew not to gulp it.

One should aaalways sip a Pimms with one's pinky pointing to the heavens.

It's good to know that you and Di had a good chin wag, but Di will be on a fast day tomorrow after the alcohol chip and sarnies. ;)

Oh no I won't WM I'm on holiday :D

It was lovely; lovely courtyard, lovely Pimms, sandwich and chips, and Fugi was lovely too :D
As were the cakes I bought to have with a cup of tea :D

Just deciding where to have dinner now :)

How lovely that sounds, someone I've already met several times, and someone I would love to meet - what a shame you weren't able to make it to Brum in June, Fugi - maybe next time. So glad you had a nice time.
