Been for a lovely walk, no blisters, but slightly achey left ankle

Off to do the beer run later and salad for dinner.

Morning Ton and fellow VVers

It's quite cool here this morning, but still looks like it's going to be a nice day.

Hospital appointments went okay, but what a long day! Physio in the morning, and that went well. Blood test, didn't have to wait long for a change Then my assessment. Part one went fine...more hearing tests of varying sorts, then a 'chat' about pros and cons of bone anchored hearing aids and what it can and can't do for me. Then I was sent home with a head band affair with the aid attached. I need to try that for a week before they will consider me for the op.

Now I have a reduced splint on my hand I can at least do a bit more, so I'll do some sewing today I think. I also have a friend coming round later

We're off to see mother this morning, didn't get over there last week because we were in Kent, fingers crossed her good mood is continuing. Poor E's hips have been playing up for the last couple of days, but he's determined to come too, hopefully it will do him good to move about a bit.

Morning all. Very overcast here today.

We are away with friends this weekend, staying in a very basic camping barn and we were keeping our fingers crossed that the weather would be wonderful as the outside space is lovely and the inside space leaves a lot to be desired. I have just looked at the forecast - not good!

Work for me all day today.

Well back to the routine of school again, Amy started primary 4 today (will put a photo on other board), so I went for a coffee with my sister and bro in law, home to watch some tv!

Had a phone call from who I think will be my new boss - asking if I can start work on Monday 2nd Sept instead of the Tuesday so that is fine with me, induction next Thursday and Friday and then start on the Monday

So a nice chilled out day today for me, well few days! lol!

Afternoon all! Just off for my train shortly. I'm stupidly excited - woke up knowing I was seeing Green Day tonight and then read a post on Facebook from Frank Turner, one of my other favourites, saying that he's opening for them tonight. It's my dream concert line-up

It's dull but humid here.
