Oooh we've done something mad - very excited!!

We said earlier this year that we wouldn't have a holiday this year because we had such a fab one last year, and now we've had a lovely summer this year and we keep having to pay money to the architects etc. etc. ..............but.............

Well..........we keep getting these emails offering us all sorts of nice cruises for very attractive prices and today we took the bait So in just SIX WEEKS TIME we are going on a 7 day Eastern Med cruise It's a really great price with flights and transfers included, it probably would have been rude not to take it (wouldn't it ) and we are soooooo looking forward to it. Travelling from Rome and visiting Sicily, Athens, Ephesus (Turkey), Crete and back to Rome. You know what - we'll be a long time dead....

I just LOVE Ephesus. I've been there about 4 times now and could happily go again - such a fascinating place. And I'd love to go back to Rome to explore it at my own leisure - remember to throw a coin into the fountain at the base of the Spanish Steps (at least I'm sure it's that fountain)... doing that means that some day you will go back to Rome
