What a shame the holiday had to end like that for B I hope he feels better soon.

Thanks Jo I am assuming he was discharged this morning, as expected, as I would have heard otherwise I think. My sister must have gone to work, and Z and R carried on with their journey after getting B to Heathrow, as there is nobody home at J's house. I will ring this evening to check all is well though, and will update.

Good news, B was discharged this morning and was on the 5pm flight back to Germany. Z and R carried on with their trip, up to my Uncle's in Wellingborough. Phew!
