Its nice to be home.

I'm exhausted.

We were up and out by 9am. Had a lovely message on my answerphone from the holiday cottage lady thanking us for leaving it all in such lovely condition (Mick had spent two hours cleaning the floors yesterday after the dog, whilst left alone, found a sandwich that we had forgotten about in the backpack - she was sick in every room downstairs - I didn't bother to tell her that though!!!) and for stripping all the beds (which I always do). And that she would be more than happy to have us back again next year. :D :D :D (Without the stalker family hopefully).

The traffic wasn't too bad and we had only one quick stop and arrived home at 3.30pm. All is now unpacked and the second lot of washing has just gone on. The girls are off to Cambridge on Monday with my sister and her partner for a couple of days and of course they want to take the stuff they wore this holiday.

Thinking about dinner at the moment. S made cheese pasta for them but I can't get motivated for us. It may be cheese on toast I think.

And I have just paid for the holiday in October. Lets hope that the whole of the Lake District is now booked up so stalker family can't find anywhere close by...........

Glad you're home safe and sound Debih :)
Oops about the dog - I'm worried about the same sort of thing, but I realised we couldn't just stay at home the whole time.
Fingers crossed for October :)

I usually love coming home, but this year I didn't. I like Cornwall too much.

Glad you had a good time and hope Millie is ok now?
