Ooooo! Peter Capaldi looks very dishy with that little beard so I wouldn't mind if it was him. I'd like him to play the Doctor in Malcolm Tucker mode.

The first Doctor was ancient or at least he looked it to me probably because I was so young at the time. Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee were no spring chickens either. I daresay Peter Capaldi looks old to DW's young fans who are used to Eccleston, Tennant and Smith but I think he will be good in the part.

I'm pleased too Paddy - my favourite will always be David Tennant but Peter Capaldi is a good choice I think. I could never take to Matt, he was far too young IMO
