I seem to have lost the ability to have a long lie and again woke at 6am! Wide awake managed to lie in bed for a while and now up having coffee and pancakes

Amy is still sound asleep!!

Thanks Ally & Saundra, got to get organised this morning, packing done, but need more euros Amy's 'dad' (i use the term loosely) dropped off some of the money he is owe me (not paid anything for 8 weeks) so that will come in handy!

Oh, has anyone noticed any huge spiders? Last night I saw a huge one - looked like it had 2 bodies it was so long - it didn't though as I got close to check and then squashed it, anyway came downstairs and another one the same in the kitchen - they aren't very fast which is good! I seriously HATE spiders!!!

Well after a very busy weekend I could do with a rest LOL but my German cousin and family arrive here on Wednesday night and I have plenty to do! Took my cushion covers off just now and forgot that one is feather - feathers flew everywhere so the living room has been hoovered twice today already

Mick is taking a few days off and we are taking the Germn rellies out and about - Bath on Friday (the place not the tub lol) which I am really looking forward to as we've not been for a few years! Then somewhere Cotswold-y over the weekend, maybe Bourton on the Water or somewhere like that Mick has to work Thursday so if weather permits I will take them down to the Docks, to the Waterways Museum and maybe a boat ride up the canals............... Really looking forward to seeing Z, not seen her since Chris was a baby (he's 35 now!) and I've never met her hubby or son, who have very basic English so that should be interesting My German never being any better than schoolgirl, even when I was a schoolgirl.........

They are staying at least until Sunday or Monday, maybe longer, and then on the 17th we are off to Devon for a week. In September I'll be looking for a long lie down

All our visitors love Bath kaz so you can't go wrong there. Another favourite is Bourton on the Water, we usually combine that with Stow on the Wold........don't you just love Cotswold place names

Nothing much happening here today, I've a few phone calls to make and that's about it.
