Thank you everyone, strange that I feel the same "pain" as I did when my husband died, Barney was a pup at that time. The lad who does odd jobs for me went up to our family plot on our old property and prepared his resting place.
Odd that I never considered him leaving this earthly plain before me! He is exhausted, will not eat and throws up any water that he drinks.
My beautiful Barney, so loving, so loyal, so loved and respected by all who know him, agony to think he will no longer be part of my life.
