Hot (up to 30 C) and humid forecast for us today. Too hot for my liking.

Blimey it's a bit hot here, and so humid!! I'm plucking up the courage to go outside and take the washing off the line.

Hope Osc has a good weekend, and that the Tower is very well air-conditioned!

Good evening everybody. Cloudy start this morning. Now there is a clear blue sky and it is hot. Went for a short drive this morning to have my driving skills tested.
Then I fitted two new taps to the wash basin in the bathroom. Not very easy lying on your back, looking up and trying to undo the connections.Took longer than I thought but everything is now back in place. These new taps have ceramic valves and only need a quarter turn from OFF to fully open. Then some gardening and sorting out our flights for a cruise next year. Also on the computer.
JoM, I expect the Tower ballroom is air conditioned. Part of the roof over the main ballroom in the Winter Gardens, an adjoining venue, will open to allow hot air escape. You canot tell from the inside as he underside of the different sections are all painted the same. I know about this as I went on the roof as aprt of an inspection I did when I was working.
