Have you considered Télépéage? We always talk about it when we hit a huge queue at the tolls and watch cars going straight through the télépéage booth but we always forget about it when we get back to the UK.

I have just checked it out and it is not that expensive. Apart from the initial set up costs it is 6 euros a year for admin then a maximum of 10 Euros for using it (5 Euros a month to a maximum of 10 for the year) but if you are using it on a bike you still have to go through a manned booth and hand the contraption over so that you are not charged as a car. Saves you fumbling for cash or cards but no quicker really. You would think in this day and age they could sort out a transponder that would tell the computer it was on a motorbike.

Might get one for our trip in September.
