Church bells

Postby Ally » 29 Jul 2013, 09:40

There has just been a 5 minute silence in our town as a gesture of respect for those that tragically lost their lives in the recent Spanish train crash. :(

This was followed by the church bells ringing for 5 minutes.

Don and I are full of thoughts today on our own personal loss.

And on the other side of the world, at the same time, two dear hearts of mine were busy sharing with me photos and stories and happiness from their wonderful Chinese trip.

Life is so precious.

(I'd like to say early this morning Craig texted Don to let him know he was thinking of him today.) xx

Life has always been a mixture of happiness and sadness. Accidents will, unfortunately,
always continue to happen. It is such a pity, though, that much of the sadness is caused
by wicked people who have no thought for the grief they cause to others. There is not
much we can do about it, except to give help and comfort to those who have to suffer.
