Afternoon all, it was glorious earlier on and I had a lovely walk on the pier before the crowds descend as the day goes on. It's cloudier now and there has been a bit of rain. Yesterday was gorgeous and I spent a lot of it sitting in the sun before we went out last night. Feeling a bit "down" today. Nothing particular planned, I think Mr. Osc will be watching golf later on and I haven't really given any thought to what I'll do  A shower would be a good start and I'll take it from there   Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all :D sunshine and showers here today. I have been pootling around the garden and have been in the kitchen making 'lavender tincture' :D I have never made any before, but I have so much lavender this year I want to make use of it. I already have loads of it bunched and drying and I shall use it in soaps and bath salts :D

Afternoon all, we had a lovely warm and sunny start to the day but it's getting a bit grey now. John didn't go cycling this morning so we took Billy for a lovely long walk. No cooking for me today as we're off to the lovely Indian restaurant opposite the estate a little later.

Poll, that's awful...I hope Amy's Dad starts taking his responsibilities seriously very soon, it's so unfair :(

yeah Jo, it's shocking - thanks for the hug Kaz xx

He is just terrible to be honest, maybe seen Amy 3 times this year if that, but Amy told me she doesn't want to see him, he saw her on Christmas day and turned up late, and saw her on her birthday for 5mins. I often say to Amy she can see him and I will contact him but she gets quite cross with me, probably because any time she does see him he doesn't even know what to say to her, doesn't speak to her about anything, she is a little chatterbox but not with him - there is no bond and that's all down to him - for 5 years he came and sat in my living room every Sunday morning and watched my tv and basically ignored Amy for an hour then left! (I put a stop to this and told him he should take her out every week - it never happened!).

Amy is a very sensible little girl, always telling me that its ok, she doesn't want to have anything to do with him, I just feel sad that he is her 'dad' - use that word loosely!

hey ho!

you are 100% spot on Ally xx

As much as I hated what happened to me, I am thankful he walked before Amy was born, she has never known any different and she really is a great wee girl.

He has other children who Amy did see for a while but when he and their mother split up, things became very nasty in terms of her being really horrible to me, it became apparent she pretended to me nice/friends to keep everything nice, the minute they split up it all went bad. Amy now chooses to see none of them which is sad but its her choice, she is 8 now and I cannot and will not force her.

Me and my girl are just great, I have a very supportive family and good friends :)
