Good morning. The rain has stopped. Very heavy rain for long periods during the night as it woke me up several times. Having a lazy day.

Morning all :)
I completely fail to understand how they could have got the weather forecast quite so wrong. Torrential rain and storms, according to them and their map, were going to hit us by around 11am at the latest and could not possibly miss us.
It was blazing sunshine all morning and some of the afternoon, then it got hazy and finally cloudy.

We went into town yesterday afternoon, even some of the big market stalls hadn't come because of the forecast!
It did begin to rain, I think around 4.30ish - very gently, no wind. It rained on and off, very light, most of the evening. There wasn't even enough to fill the water butt, which in a downpour will fill in about an hour!

Anyway, today's started bright and breezy :) I went to bed first, no idea what time the boys went but I think I can just hear Bb getting up. Not sure if we have any plans for today.
Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday :)

Morning everyone

Our bonkers weather continues  We have a grey sky this morning  Bit chilly at 25C

Sporty day for us - well, watching it anyway  And it was yesterday too, as I spent all afternoon, watching the athletics - brilliant.

So another waiting day for us  and an experiment  for dinner. A bit of that leftover beef, a bit of this stuff, a bit of that and stir it all together and see what happens

Hope you all have a good day, whatever the weather chucks at us xx

Good Morning All,

Bit cloudy here this morning, not sure whats in store weather wise today.

If it clears up and if youngest comes and picks up her dog we might get out this afternoon.

Grandson is up and fed and currently getting rusk everywhere, some is even going into the mouth  we will treat Granddad to the Sunday papers once he is cleaned up (grandson not grand dad)

Take care all, have a good day.

Hope the weather picks up for your fair Saundra.

Morning everyone :) We had a huge amount of rain yesterday evening and overnight, the grass is greening up already! It's dry now and bright but clouding over again I think, so more on the way :? It feels a lot fresher this morning :)

Di that was way off, wasn't it?

Saundra I hope the fair can go ahead xx

Ton, Ally, have a good day in the sunshine :D

Sue rusk is terrible stuff, it sticks to everything

No plans yet for today, I think Mick wants to get on with some sketching and B isn't up yet so if I go out it will be on me todd  so I probably won't bother especially if it rains ;)

Enjoy your Sunday everyone :) xxx

morning all,

Very wet here today, I was woken around 2am by a very loud car coming out an opening over the road, think the same one I heard around 10pm, anyway, that was me awake and do you think I could get back to sleep? No :( took until after 4am.

Woke again just before 7 and been awake since, and its been pouring with rain since and very dull :( We were meant to be going to a fun day at a local mining museum but not going in this weather, so think a lazy day is in order, not done that for ages! Got food shopping to get and some ironing to do also.

Amy had asked to go to the cinema but trying to save the pennies, maybe if her so called father had kept up to date with paying money I could take her, but had nothing for 6 weeks now

Hey ho!

Oh, and we had similar with weather the other day, the overhead signs on the bypass said heavy rain forecast as the sun was blazing and it was roasting - no rain appeared, that was Friday! lol

Morning all :D

We were very lucky yesterday, the rain held off til about 5pm which was when the CH garden party was packing up. The whole afternoon went very well, mother was in a reasonably good mood and was pleased to see our eldest daughter with two of the children (mother's great grandchildren).

The rain came down heavily from 6.30 onwards for most of the night, but it's bright and sunny now and feels a bit fresher. No plans for us today, a lazy day beckons.

Hope you all have a good day :D
