Officials told the Daily Telegraph that the European Commission and Lady Ashton’s European External Action Service want to create military command and communication systems to be used by the EU for internal security and defence purposes

Hmmmm - now we know what awaits dissident Brits if we stay in the EU .......

One day, not too far in the future, all residents of fist world countries will be implanted with RFIDs (or even more powerful devices) at birth. It is not an "if" it is a "when".

We British are already one of the most surveilled populations on the planet. What the EU proposes has already crept up on us. Drones, bi-directional audio CCTV in every town, speed cameras, police illegally using ANPR devices, e-mail intercepts, monitoring of every massage board, phone call and social media site.

We let it happen without so much as a murmur.

It is all for our protection, though, part of the war on terrorism.

Lest it has escaped notice, Lady Ashton runs the EU "Foreign Service" and is creating embassies all over the world for the EU.

Only countries need embassies. Countries also need security forces and services.

The EU became a country with the signing of the Lisbon Treaty.

Time to face it. None of this should be a surprise if we were understanding what happened. It is either a good thing or something to be avoided depending on your position.

I see nothing sinister in this. It just IS.

The main issue is that because France and the Netherlands said NO to becoming one country, they had to fudge the Lisbon "Treaty" and lie about it.

But the EU is good at that aren't they. After all every time the tell the truth the supposedly "Good Europeans" throw a total wobbly and try and stop them.....

So who's a "Good European" and who is "BAD".....

As for all WM says. It's true and we deserve everything we get. Every time someone says "I have nothing to hide" as our freedoms and rights are massacred, that person aids and abets this kind of action.

We deserve what we are willing to put up with. Surprisingly for the Britain I grew up in, that is a hell of a lot.

Those who understand Binary and those who do not.

Yet another story that will never see the light of day on the TV news.
Whoever controls the TV controls what is acceptable thought in this country. If right wingers controlled it, "Baroness" Ashton's actions would soon be deemed unacceptable; but they don't.

The thing that annoys me is that the British people have never been given a vote on joining the EU.

It has been done craftily by politicians, who think they know better.

All we, the public, agreed was to join the Common Market.
