had a lovely day :)

Postby pollR78 » 26 Jul 2013, 16:58

Well Amy finally woke and we had a lovely day! Decided against using the bus as we had a few different places to go, so we went to the bank and Amy withdrew money from her account for the first time :), then went into Edinburgh where she was treated to more clothes (not too much! but £20 in primark so a bag full! )

Went to another shopping place and picked up our holiday tickets and we both got some Euros :D :D then lunch at Costa Coffee which was lovely. Popped to M&S for the meal deal and I went to the phone shop, am changing my phone, costing me a bit as its a few months early but I am doing it - getting an iphone 4 on the same plan as I have, but they had none in stock, so getting it through the week :D :D also ended up getting my internet/land line £10 cheaper, already with orange/EE but they have changed plans etc, glad I went in!!

So all in all, a good day!

Now time to get the tea on and relax :)

Magic times Poll, especially the bit with Amy doing the grown up things - money changing, choosing her own clothes etc. :D

I loved that time when my two were growing up.

I felt quite emotional, the bank teller asked her to sign the little slip and as I was watching her I had to hold back tears  my baby is growing up to be an independent and confident girl :)

They grow up so fast don't they!

Sounds really lovely! They grow up far too fast.

I don't let my two have any dealings with their bank accounts, Tom has an idea of how much he has but Joe hasn't a clue, he'd be full of bright ideas if he knew

You'll love your iPhone 4, I have that and wouldn't be without it :D

yep they do Jo! Amy doesn't have a bank card or book, so I have to be there, she is very sensible, not sure where that comes from lol ;)

Oh I can't wait to get my phone, so excited!! lol!
