Morning all, we had a thunderstorm last night, one flash of lightning and crash of thunder was directly over the house, thought the roof was coming in :o Quite a bit of rain too, but although it's mostly cloudy today, it's still rather humid. Michael is here, he and grandad have played golf in the garden, put some bolognaise sauce in the slow cooker and are now playing various musical instruments before (apparently) watching some golf on the tv. I've tidied around and will do some other bits and pieces, depending on how much attention M needs. Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all! It's sunny, warm and muggy here. Tom and I took Billy for a walk, thinking it would be cooler because of the cloud but 5 minutes away from home it cleared and we were baking for the rest of the walk.
Had a very warm gym work out before that so now I'm on a mission to cool down, all windows are open but it's rather noisy as the show house opposite has been sold now and the new people, although they've not yet moved in, are having something done in the back garden (maybe a conservatory) which involves lots and lots of soil being removed and trucks coming and going to take it away but not before it's been transferred into the trucks (that's the noisiest part), and the cement lorry has been too.

Have a good day everyone!

Good afternoon. Have just returned from a funeral. Am waiting for a phone call. Then it is off to the local dump with garden waste, mainly grass cuttings. If it doesn't rain, I will try to finish weeding the front garden after dinner.
