I'm being ruthless

Postby debih » 24 Jul 2013, 15:52

I am going through my FB friends and getting rid of people who are only really on there because they are parents at L's school.

Now she has finished there I don't feel the need to be connected to any parents that are not also friends. There's a fair few gone.

I recently had a good hard look at my FB list - and actually decided that there was nobody that I wanted to delete, even people I only know vaguely.

Good on you Deb. I agree with you, no point in keeping people on there who are in a different phase of life to yourself. You can always add them back in if your paths cross again.

I probably should do a cull on my friend list because I actually don't interact at all with quite a few.... but then again because we don't interact it doesn't bug me so I just leave things as they are :)

ie I'm just being lazy :-P

Tbh, its more to do with my being chair of governors.

These are people who are mums at school - I never see them away from school. Since I became chair I became more wary about what I post - I don't post anything personal but still.

So now I only have 3 people that are still connected with the school and they are proper friends, not just people I know from primary school.

I do agree Debih it can be awkward when things cross over between personal and business/professional life ;)
