The black humour of workmates.

Postby Workingman » 17 Jul 2013, 11:53

Just been to the Co-op and one of the girls has a big bruise down the side of her head, so I asked after her. She apparently got a bit tipsy on Saturday night and fell down the stars and put her head through the plasterboard wall at the bottom.......

"She went on a trip..."
"Drinking Harvey Wallbangers..."
"As it was her head, the Doc said there was only soft tissue damage...."
"The builder reckons the wall will make a full recovery...."

Bless. She took it in good humour.

Why me? I only asked how she got the bruise and how she was feeling. I didn't know what happened.

The quips were made by her workmates.  and everyone took them in good heart. 8-)

I can imagine her being teased quite a bit :D :D daft girl

and on a slightly more serious note I hope she's learned her lesson and will try and stay more in control next time she's out
