Morning Monday

Postby jenniren » 15 Jul 2013, 07:02

Morning all :D

Up early and rushing around as it's my usual 6 weekly hairdresser appointment this morning, dropping E off at the barbers first so need to get a wiggle on.

Had a very lazy day yesterday sitting out in the garden. Think it could be more of the same this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jen, morning all :)
Needless to say it's beautiful out there - and Carole on the TV said it's set to stay for at least another ten days :D

We were very greedy last night so it's as well today is a fast day  I'm blaming Waitrose, I only popped in for some spinach, which they didn't have, but a box of Thin Frites jumped into my basket :-P No I wouldn't buy fresh-chilled chips, but they were reduced to 49p so it would have been rude not to ;) They were a bit too nice, we ate the lot :D
It was just like being back in Greece, sitting with the French windows open, eating souvlaki, tzatziki, Greek salad - and lots of chips :D
Oh and pudding too...had to be done, passionfruit and raspberry cheesecake slices, they were reduced too :D

Today the h-word calls, a little bit at a time and not the things that hurt my back. Himself will get a list ;)
Hope everyone has a good day, and extra hugs for Kaz and Osc

Morning everyone

Cloudy again  Definately "Morten" weather. That's a friend who, whenever he comes down, the weather is bad. One year, he stayed one day and then went to Marrakech for the rest of his holiday   It does brightne up later and get lovely and hor - just about 10 degrees lower than normal tho

Pootling today, we're cleaning up the cot and high-chair, ready to sell to some-one I found on the expats forum I go on :D and a friend is taking me down to the bank and showing me how to pay that bill

Have a good day everyone and hugs to those who need them xx

Good afternoon everyone.

It's too hot for any serious job today, so it's a lazy day for me.

Spent a few hours this morning messing about with my new mobile phone. It's a model specially intended
for the older generation but it's driving me up the wall. It's jammed full with features that I doubt if any
old person would want to use. The only benefit I've had so far is that it's made my swearing more fluent.

Today is perfect for just relaxing and drinking something from a glass, which is what we will be doing this afternoon.

Hope you are all well.

Afternoon all! I've had a lovely morning with a school friend who is home from New Zealand at the moment, chatting about old times and updating each other on various people. We've been friends for over 55 years, and even though there wouldn't be much contact - a few times a year - when we get together the years just fall away. It's quite dull here today, still nice and warm, but with no sunshine so I might be able to force myself to try and catch up on some h/w... after I have had lunch ... My sister said she might call in later so that would be nice too. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)

Afternoon all.

I have been desperate to get home to read this thread as when I tried to open it at work earlier our filter wouldn't let me open it as it contained "tasteless and offensive material".

Not sure where !!!!
