Love oysters though
I hope Molly is too busy to log in here until after they've been cleaned and she's eaten the scallops because inside the shell is the most disgusting, evil mess I have ever seen! Big black frilly things, slime, entrails and the scallop is stuck onto one half of the shell with this rubbery, grippy stuff. I was appalled. I was heaving! Trust me Di! Don't even go there
As for drawing and plucking pheasants! I didn't speak to my chef husband for a week when he bought a brace of pheasants home and I had to help him pluck them. Bloody feathers everywhere, the cats were going bonkers, the smell was shocking and all because they were cheap!
Oysters! I thought I liked them until I bit into a fresh oyster and the other half wriggled on the shell! Still alive and squirming! Might as well eat one of my Slow Worms.
