I've finally finished oiling my garden furniture - problem is now it's really showing up how badly the decking needs doing................and the fence..................and the shed

We did the fence and gate on Saturday afternoon. Not sure how the idea came about but I was melting by the time we'd finished and was glad we have a small garden and a wall on the other side

Oh, and we had a set to in the paint aisle at B&Q (again!!) because he couldn't tell the difference between two shades of brown - one was a dull brown and the other had a red tone to it but could he see that??? Nooooooo they were both exactly the same according to him

Men do not 'see' subtle colours - green is green whereas we see pea, leaf, lime etc

They really don't! He looks at me like I've got two heads if I say something is a cool colour or a warm colour

I know..................Remember those "Hint of................." white paint colours that were so popular a few years ago? They really confused Mick

I went to B&Q with Jackie when I was over.

She went to the paint section.
