The "odd" lasagne.

Postby Workingman » 09 Jul 2013, 17:33

My daughter loves to cook and she loves lasagne..... so long as she makes it.

She had done the meat sauce and the bechamel, but when she went to the cupboard there were only three sheets of lasagne pasta left in the box, however there was loads of spaghetti.

So, the lasagne became:

Meat sauce
Bechamel sauce
Al dente spaghetti with grated cheese
Meat sauce
Bechamel sauce
Paste sheets
Meat sauce
Bechamel sauce
Al dente spaghetti with extra grated cheese
Topped off with sliced tomato and cracked pepper.

It was cooked as normal and was fabby fab. :D

That sounds lovely. The other day I thawed out what I thought were two portions of bolognese. They weren't so we had spaghetti bolognese mixed with chilli

There used to be an Italian restaurant in Old Compton Street (London) called Fatso's, several times I had pasta topped with chilli & sour cream, it was yummy :)
