Afternoon :)
Sunshine and hot, hot hot everywhere, isn't it wonderful :D

((((((Mm)))))). You know I understand xx
Back was so much better yesterday but is worse again now :(
We and Minnie went for a lovely little walk yesterday evening, nearly half an hour, she was so much better too - unfortunately a bit of a setback this morning as well :(
I am not really as grumpy as the above looks though. Well, apart from my back that is, am really fed up with it now. But as for Minnie, I do feel we're getting there, with a bit of juggling.

Tennis of course, the G Prix, and barbie later :)
Hope everyone's enjoying the sun - don't get burnt!
And Kaz hope you've tried to tell B to wear a hat - once you've had sunstroke you're more susceptible to it again ;)

Di I'm glad you said "tried", because as you probably well know trying to tell a 17 year old anything is almost impossible - she is wearing leggings today and a jumper!!! :o In this heat!!! "Are you quite mad?" I asked, only somewhat more tactfully, but apparently "It's only a very thin one!"  :?

I've seen your post about Minnie on the Pet board xxxx I do so hope your back improves again soon, you are having a bit of a tough time at the moment, so sending gentle hugs for you and for Minnie (((((((((x))))))))))

 Loz, that about sums it up!! :D 8-) :kick: :kick:

We ate our lunch outside on the decking - gammon steaks for H and B, turkey steaks for Mick and me, lots of broccoli and salad and a few thick cut low fat oven chips for those who wanted them :D I have some vanilla icecream and fresh fruit salad as well but nobody was still hungry, so that will be for tea now 8-)

Afternoon all, we had total cloud cover this morning, but the sun is out now and it's lovely and warm. I had a brisk walk on the pier but far too many visitors around  should have gone out earlier. Just settling down to watch the tennis and himself is flicking over and back to the French Open golf as well. We are due to go out dancing at 3.30, so will end up having to record both probably. Go Murray!!

Evening all!

Shell, I hope you're having a beautiful time :D

We've been to Dog's Trust today. The Shrewsbury centre, where Billy came from, was having their annual open day. Billy saw 'his lady' as we refer to her, she was the carer who was with his Mom when she gave birth to the puppies and I've kept in touch with her as she was in tears when we took him and asked if she could have photos every now and again. We were sitting in the shade when we heard "I know that face!!!" and he got a huge fuss from her
One of his brothers is back with them and up for adoption. He bit the postman  Honestly, you wouldn't believe they're from the same litter!! The lady i'm in touch with said she wouldn't have believed it herself if she hadn't seen them all born  When we went last year there was another of his brothers there who had been returned - he'd stolen a crisp was the excuse given. Bill stole Joe's cracker biscuits and made a Margherita pizza out of a meat feast which was waiting to go in the oven but there's no way he's going back

It's so sad isn't it?!
Tom took some photos of Billy's brother - I'll have to get them from him so you can see just how different they are
